CYBERSECURITY4ALL
CYBERSECURITY4ALL
Project Description
We are living in the age of technology. Digital technology is advancing at an astonishing pace, making our lives easier than ever before. Today, we can carry out a significant portion of our daily tasks digitally - communication, banking transactions, social networking, subscriptions, and much more - all from our computers, tablets, or phones. In fact, almost the entire world's population now relies on at least one of these devices.
Thanks to this technology, we can:
Communicate with people anywhere in the world
Transfer money
Access information instantly
Buy and sell products
Sign up for or cancel subscriptions
Share documents, photos, videos, and other information
These conveniences make our lives easier and save us valuable time. However, alongside these benefits, we may also encounter situations that put us at risk. Malicious individuals are constantly active, developing new methods to commit fraud and deceive others. They may:
Create fake websites
Attempt to obtain personal information through phone calls or messages
Sell counterfeit products
Commit financial fraud using stolen personal data
Sign people up for, or cancel, subscriptions without their consent
Scammers target people of all kinds, regardless of:
Age
Gender
Economic or social status
Through our project, CyberSecurity4All, we aim to raise awareness and inform people on how to protect themselves from these threats.
